Electromagnetic Transduction Therapy (EMTT®) Q & A

What is EMTT®?

Electromagnetic Transduction Therapy (EMTT) is a noninvasive energy-based procedure that treats many types of musculoskeletal pain, including common injuries and disorders. This treatment works well when you undergo it within a broader treatment plan, which may also include strategies like physical therapy and rehabilitation.

The EMTT device transmits pulses of intense magnetic energy into your injured or painful tissues. The magnetic energy goes deep into your tissues without injections or incisions, leaving your skin unharmed. In fact, the device doesn’t even make direct contact with your skin, and you remain clothed during the procedure.

The magnetic energy stimulates healing processes deep in your muscles and helps to reduce inflammation. It reactivates your cells’ metabolism to improve cell healing and turnover.

Can I benefit from EMTT?

EMTT can be valuable in treating many overuse injuries, acute injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain disorders. The Inland Wellness & Vitality team appraises your health and can determine if EMTT fits into your care plan for:

  • Tendinitis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Herniated discs
  • Spondyloarthritis
  • Radiculopathy (nerve root pain)
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Sports and workplace injuries

Therapeutic EMTT treatments can help you make a complete recovery to restore your strength and range of motion. After just a few treatments, you may be able to return to your favorite sports or physical activities.

How many EMTT treatments do I need?

The number of EMTT sessions you need depends on the severity of your condition or injury. The team at Inland Wellness & Vitality makes an assessment before recommending EMTT. They often recommend it alongside shockwave therapy for the best possible results. EMTT is almost entirely risk-free and side-effect-free, and most agree that the treatment is comfortable.

Most people who undergo EMTT for musculoskeletal pain need between six and eight sessions, but you might need as many as ten. Each of these treatments takes just 5-20 minutes, and you can visit Inland Wellness & Vitality around twice a week until you complete your treatment plan.

You might notice improvements in your pain after just one or two sessions with continued improvements from every session afterward.

To find out if EMTT can reduce your back or joint pain, call Inland Wellness & Vitality or schedule a consultation online today.
